Teaching the Alphabet

Benefits of Coloring
Besides the obvious enjoyment of coloring, coloring for kids has many benefits as well! According to the OT Toolbox, coloring helps children develop fine motor skills, which then carries over to the ability to use pencils, scissors, and other important household tools.
Coloring helps to improve bilateral coordination, which simply means the ability to use both hands together in a coordinated way. This skill carries over to writing tasks, an important skill for school!
