#1) Pumpkin Alphabet Match with Free Printable

DIRECTIONS:
1. Click below to download the FREE Pumpkin Seed Alphabet Letter Match. Print on cardstock or regular printer paper.
2. Laminate for extended use, or create a file folder game. See step #3 for more information on how to create a file folder game.
3. You can cut out the pumpkin or choose to leave it on the paper. If you cut out the pumpkin, it could easily fit onto a file folder to create a file folder game. Place the matching pumpkin seeds in a plastic bag, and attach to the file folder with a stapler. You can find more information on how to make file folders games HERE.
4. Spread all of the lowercase matching pumpkin seeds out onto the table. Have students match the uppercase and lowercase pumpkin seeds together.
Challenge: For more of a challenge, work on letter sounds. Call out a letter sound and ask students to tell you the correct letter for that sound. Then have students pick that letter up and match it onto the pumpkin.

DIRECTIONS:
1. Print the haunted house alphabet letter match on regular paper or cardstock.
2. Laminate for extended use.
3. Cut each haunted house and haunted house character on each page.
4. This resource can be used to work with kids one on one, small groups, or even a literacy center. Spread out the uppercase haunted houses on a table. Depending on the level of the kiddo, you can spread out all of the letters at the same time, or just a few letters that you would like to practice. Next, spread out the matching lowercase haunted house characters out on the table. Have students match the correct letters and put each match aside.
Challenge: if a student can easily match the letters of alphabet, work on alphabet sounds instead. Begin with saying the sound of the letter that you would like them to try and match.
