Materials:
1) Mother’s Day handprint craft template (see below)
2) Cardstock
3) Printer
4) Paint
5) Your child’s hands
6) Laminator (optional)
Directions:
1) Download and print the Mother’s Day Handprint craft for kids on cardstock paper. Printing tip: Always click on print preview before printing and choose fit to printable area or print to fit to size. This will ensure the printable doesn’t get off when printing.
2) Pick one paint color for the entire hand, or pick multiple paint colors for each finger and palm. Spread paint out onto paper plate and place child’s hands into the paint. Make sure the child’s hands are fully covered in paint.
3) Carefully set your child’s hands down onto the paper. Try to place both hands down on the paper at the same time and aim for the middle of the paper. If a mistake is made, simply print the template again, and start over.
4) Let the handprint craft dry for at least 24 hours before giving it to mom. You can give it to mom as is, or you can laminate the craft for extra protection. I personally laminated our craft so that it would last for a longer time.
